My firm is a small firm. Therefore, we do not have clients from the Fortune 500 companies calling us for legal representation. The good thing is that we also do not charge the exorbitant hourly fees of a large law firm in representing business litigation clients. Recently, my law firm has successfully represented a number of small companies (20 employees or less) in all types of situations — e.g., being sued for violations of employment and labor law, vindication of rights against vendors, customers, and competitors, and just plain and simple legal advice on a regular and retained basis.
